Reading Assignments

Each of you have a suggested reading material assigned.  Please review it carefully.  I tried to provide you with sufficient material to choose from.  However, you do not need to incorporate more than 100 pages from the suggested reading in your study.

You will have to present essential information from your reading during 20 min. in-class presentation delivered according to the schedule page.  You need to use not more than 20-25 power point slides in your talk.  Your presentation will be evaluated for clarity and the content of the talk according to the speaker feedback form.

By April 30 you will need to submit a 5 page write-up of your reading assignment.  This should include the most important thesis you will present in your talk.  Please structure your 5 page document by presenting the main topic, its importance, its relevance to embodied intelligence, and the main observations and results.  Limit the number of figures to a necessary minimum to explain the concept.  You will use all the visual material in your talk.   The document must be typed, single spaced, using 10pt Century Gothic fonts (as in this assignment).  This document is part of your reading assignment and will be graded.
